What It's Like to Work With Me
I work best once the goal is clear. From there, I can take ownership and execute. Most of my work starts with a problem, not a polished brief.

Unclear positioning. Confusing messaging. A product or idea that makes sense internally but not to the audience. My role is to identify that gap and close it with clear, usable content.
1. Define the Real Goal
Before writing, I clarify what the content needs to do.

~Educate. Reduce friction and confusion.
~Build trust. Be honest and grounded.
~Drive action. Make the next step obvious and justified.

Once the objective is clear, the writing follows.

2. Research With Purpose
I research to understand the system and the audience, not to pad word count.

That usually means a mix of deep research and lived experience. I focus on where people get stuck, what most explanations miss, and how the topic is actually discussed in the real world.

3. Write for Clarity
I write to be understood, not admired.

Structure, pacing, and plain language matter. A piece is successful when it can stand on its own without explanation.

I am not attached to my first draft. If something can be clearer, it gets rewritten.

4. Refine Through Feedback
I’m direct, flexible, and open to critique.

If feedback improves the work, I use it. Being able to accept and apply criticism is part of doing good work.

5. Ship When It Works
A piece is done when it’s clear, accurate, and able to do its job without hand-holding.

What I Focus On Now
I’ve written plenty of analytical reports and documentation. I know how to do that work.

Now, I focus on writing with voice.

~Long-form content
~Product education
~UX-informed reviews
~Narrative-driven brand writing

The goal is always the same. Respect the audience’s time, intelligence, and intent.
